Opening of the kitchen of Castello Sonnino – typical dishes, zero miles and superb quality
In the premises of the wine bar of Castello Sonnino, starting in September 2011 it will be possible to taste Tuscan foods based on zero-miles produce and the finest local tradition, accompanied by the Sonnino wines. A new place to discover for those who appreciate the great quality of Tuscan cuisine. Booking essential.
The season will open with a series of theme evenings based on “poor” fish (that is when fish was eaten only on Fridays and was fished only in the Tuscan archipelago!), niche cheeses, home-made pasta with piping hot sauces, roasts fragrant with truffles and porcini mushrooms, chestnuts and dishes inspired by Artusi... Not to be missed, the Italian-style brunch, an appointment somewhere between breakfast, snack and lunch, for families and everyone else.
